The National Talent Competition - RockIT, WriteIT, ShootIT, SnapIT and DesignIT - is now open!  This is a chance for your students to show off their creative talents!

The National Talent Competition is divided into five categories. RockIT is for budding musicians, WriteIT for creative writers, ShootIT for talented filmmakers, SnapIT for visionary photographers and DesignIT for those with a flair for art and graphics.

Conditions of entry, prize details and entry forms are now available at www.youthweek.com

• Read the Conditions of Entry (available from the website)
• Fill in the entry form (available from the website) and attach a short biography of yourself or your group, a colour photo of yourself and a list of credits if necessary.
• If you’re entering the 12-17 years category, make sure you get a parent or legal guardian to sign your entry form.
• If your entry contains images of people who are not entrants in the National Talent Competitions, you must get their permission to use their image. A personal image consent form (available from the website) must be filled out by each relevant person and sent in with your entry
• Email or post your entry to NYW by 5.00pm AEST, 14 April 2009.
