Come along to the Nursing and Midwifery Taster Day: a one day workshop designed to give students hands on experience, an overview of the health industry and information on how to enter university to become a Registered Nurse.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for grade 9/10 students to gain an insight into career pathways in the health industry, hospitals and community through a career in Nursing and Midwifery.

Thursday 25 June 2009 (10.30am - 3.30pm).

 

A bus will be provided from the South departing at 7.30am and arriving back at 6.30pm - more details will be provided when student selection is confirmed in June.

University of Tasmania, Newnham Campus, Launceston

 

There is a limit of 40 places in this program.  Some applicants may not be successful.  Students will be notified by Tuesday 16 June as to whether they have been successful or not.

 

Students are to wear casual clothes with enclosed shoes.
