Distance Education Tasmania (DET) offers four services.
For students who meet criteria relating to:
Learning Services and schools can register students. This enables access to DET’s teachers and education programs on a fee-for-service basis.
DET teachers are based at the Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital, providing a range of services to students throughout Tasmania who are ill.
Families registered with the Tasmanian Home Education Advisory Council (THEAC) can access our learning resources.
